What Others are Saying about Bay Point Marina
Steve and Staff,
Thank you so very much for your warm and generous hospitality during our stay here at Bay Point Marina. We hope that in the future we can do it again and under better boating circumstances so that we have a bigger crowd! Your marina is just Wonderful and we have all had such a great time. :-)

During my recent stay at Bay Point Marriott Resort, I am compelled to say I was extremely impressed with Steve Arndt (Bay Point Marina Director) & his wonderful staff. I brought my jet ski with me while visiting on business & Steve and his staff made me feel like I was one of their family as well as a highly valued guest. I was at the marina nearly every day and each time I was there they provided exemplary assistance. I have never had that level of service anywhere. For me, Steve and his staff are the best in their field!

"Perhaps the most outstanding non-physical feature of the Panhandle is the attitude of its residents toward visitors. While other parts of Florida get more attention as tourist destinations, no other region will make you feel more welcome than you will here. Service people and tradesmen will go out of their way to accommodate your wishes or needs, yet they don't think they are doing a thing but being decent. Couple this with the outstanding scenery, plentiful good food, and an almost overwhelming sense of history, and you'll see why we say this is a cruising area not to be missed."

We hope that we never need special assistance when cruising and need to ask for help when we come into a marina, but it happens. In 10 years of cruising, we have needed that special help 3 times and 3 great marinas responded to our need. Most recently, Bay Point marina in Panama City, Florida came to our rescue when the air conditioning failed during the summer heat and the First Mate was threatening desertion. This outstanding marina got a technician aboard just hours after we docked and we were able to resume our cruising schedule in comfort. The best marinas look at a boater who is in trouble as an opportunity to give that boater a good experience that will not be forgotten but will be talked about to others. I applaud those marinas for taking the extra effort. Thank you guys, we won't forget you....
